Inner thoughts

Just created my blog today...didn't expect myself to create a blog though...cos I'm not used to expressing my feelings online/allowing so many pple to see...but Jingping once told me as the writer you can choose what to let people see and what not to let people see...but shouldn't the purpose of the blog is to not hide anything? I'm not sure...but having nothing to do now, I thought why not I start my own blog...heehee.

How time flies, it's my 2nd year to spend my christmas eve at Citibank. I received quite a no. of christmas presents yesterday from the office, didn't expect so many though, only prepared for a few collegues.

Juz unwrapped the presents....hmm...I have got an adidas pouch from Judy (someone from the banking side, don noe wat she looks like though), was quite touched cos' can see from the packaging she really took pains to prepare the gift...and I think it's worth much more than $10, the minimum budget which each of us are supposed to prepare for our collegues.

Got a "forever frens" mouse pad and 3 mini jams from my 2 supervisors, a shawl from Joey, a very chio collegue ;) An angel handphone chain from Eileen, one of my good pals in Citibank, a pair of mickey mouse chopsticks from thiam chye, a collegue whom I usually met at the bus-stop while waitg for 77 after my wk, hee we are usually on e dot when it comes to going home :P
A sweet photo frame from a collegue also called wendy, hee and a cute lookg egg, with 2 orange feet sticking out from pearl and sherlyn-very warm and friendly collegues. Lotsa candies from Joanne, Kimberly, Chen Yee, Peiling and also Jingping, my good pal since JC. Not forgetting a bag of SINS chocolates from Yeong Chai, my neighbour who sits on my left and a candle cum holder from Yi Qian who sits on my right at work heehee.

The most treasured present will be the roxy bag from my darling in Australia....it's white base with lotsa pink-written "roxy" all over the bag :) Though we can't spend our christmas together this year, I'm already happy cos' at least I get to see him on the webcam when both of us are online unlike other couples who do not have a webcam and can only communicate via phones.

These christmas gifts make me feel so blessed for the fact that they are especially prepared for me...and from some whom I thought are just aquaintances or hi-bye friends...it's the thought that they took the effort to choose what presents to get and the time taken to prepare the gifts that really touches me.

Well, my parents and brothers are all at home today but we are each in our rooms doing our own stuff....hmmm...anyway...will be going out for dinner later for yu2 tou2 lu2...it's been a long time since we went there (cos there's usually lotsa pple there and quite far from my house), really look forward to the dinner....................alas my mum juz came in, she said actually my brothers went out already....left me and my parents may change the venue or ask my grandma and aunts along....feeling a little disappointed now.... it's confirm....we are not going there cos my father wants to take a nap so not going out so early....too late the place will be crowded...haiz...
