Happy Wednesday
Watched jue2 dui4 superstar just now, tdy's 6 competitors are better than last week's batch. Really enjoyed the performance put up by Derrick, his singing is superb and he's really cute in terms of looks and the way he presents himself, hee looking forward to his coming performance (most prob he can get into this round lah).
Went to book the tickets to Genting yesterday, $200 per person, higher than what I have expected it to be (cos' going on fri, sat and coming bk on sun). Bo bian, since I don't thk I can take leave on 2 consecutive weekdays. Booked Resort Hotel, didn't wanna take the cheapest at First World Hotel cos' heard very bad comments from Russ such as poor lightings, no electic kettle (want water have to go out take), very small toilet etc. Asked the agent and confirmed that is a 3*/budget hotel, so rather spend $50 more for a more comfortable stay.
On one hand, the thought of having have to reach lavender by 6.30am kinda put me off, cos' this means I have to wake up at 5.00am and leave my house by 5.45am the latest! On the other hand, I'm looking fwd since it's my first trip to Malaysia with darling. He's back for a week liao, 2 more weeks to go...wish time won't pass by so fast.
Had lunch with darling on Mon & tdy, meeting him tml as well, since we not meeting after work. Though it's only an hour, already happy liao cos' at least can get to see him, bring him eat nice food, show him around the area I work in and I also don't have to eat in, keke.
Back to work
I'm back to work today, after taking a day off yesterday...the day seemed to pass by very slowly, as if it's a monday...firstly not much stuff to do, secondly no mood to work... :P
Didn't get enough sleep last night, so was quite sleepy and my whole body feels weak. Had a cup of coffee and the caffeine causes my heart to beat even faster, it was a very terrible feeling. Made two blunders at work today, cos' couldn't concentrate, luckily very minor ones...phew.
Took the train back to clementi with Wanbin tdy. Though it's only a mere half an hour journey together, feels great to have a good friend for company, can complain and whine etc. :)
Found a seat on 173 and was starting to stone when a guy came up and asked whether can sit besides me. Guess what...it's my bro...trying to be funny, frankly he got me startled for the first 3 seconds.
Was expecting darling's call the whole day, waited and waited..he finally called around 1900 plus, he went to zzz straight after my mum sent him home, as expected. Went to pick him up from the airport on tue night and he stayed over for 2 nights at my place (after approval from my parents) since his parents went for a holiday and came back only this morning.
Tml is finally friday, yeah!!! So happy!!!
Lazy saturday
Haven't been sleeping well these few nights...dunno why...but I'm not feeling stressed leh...hmmm...
Went for a hair-cut tdy at Clementi, recommended by Wanbin. Thk shld be the same guy who cut for her the last time from the description (since we have no idea what's his name)ie. cut her hair like very shuang3 like tat...haha. Taught me how to style my hair and take care of my hair, overall quite pleased with his professional service and the new look :)
Told my mama wanna go Genting and asked her opinion which agency to go to...actually also wanna see her reaction whether she permits me to go with darling lah. Surprisingly, she helped me called my uncle who just went Genting few weeks ago and asked him to recommend which agency and hotel to stay in. Even suggested that we can go bintan/batam if timing clashes for the Genting trip! Hee so glad that she has finally given her full support after so many yrs :)
Spent $55 tdy (Exclude transport)
I bought a sunblock today...$55..ex hor...but for the sake of my face, have to try and see lah...cos' saw more freckles popping up ever since I went sentosa weeks ago...really regretted not putting on sufficient sunblock on my face, haiz.
Kana approached by a salesperson on uob roadshow, wanted to intro me to a savings cum insurance account..anyway since I'm free, sat there and listen for around 10 mins and was rewarded with a free bazaar magazine, yeah :P
Didn't have the mood to shop for clothes after spending so much on the sunblock, so went kino to see whether there's any books on yoga cos' I'm feeling more and more unhealthy and guilty for not exercising. Found 1 book which teaches those postures I learnt during my yoga class last time, but I didn't buy it..cos' it costs $16 and I really don't feel like spending $ for the rest of the day. So I headed to taka library to see whether can find the book there...found it but on loan, haiz. Spotted Eileen on my way down the escalator, so qiao3...she's going prettislim for her treatments...her bf sponsored her cos' he finds that her arms and tummy are fat...haiz gals' problematic areas...
Darling is coming back soon, hee can really start to count down le. Asked my mentor cum AM (assistant manager) yesterday whether can take leave during probation, and she hesistated, so I continued sayg "not advisable har?" and she nodded her head...she paused for a while then asked "you have something on ar", so told her truthfully bf coming bk. Then she told me to check with another colleague who is handling leave matters, and encouraged me to take leave if possible since long time nvr see each other liao. Was quite touched with her understanding cos' she actually has to cover my duties if I'm on leave and becos I'm new, she can't take leave since she has to teach me...so actually do feel kinda bad to take leave too...
It's saturday!!!
Went shopping today at town, hee bought 2 casual sleeveless tops for $19 at Tangs and a skirt from little match girl for $36.70 (after 25% discount). So happy :) But actually feeling not too well physically, had a sore throat, recover liao then cough, haiz. Cannot wear sleeveless too cos' there's a dark patch on my arms due to sun-burnt (went sentosa last sat).
Attended co's orientation on tue, it was not as boring as I thought...and I even won a small prize during the ice-breaker haha. Got to know an ex-lawyer there, was quite surprised when she told us, in fact my mouth and eyes instantly widened up cos' I never thought I would get to know a real lawyer in person :P. Anyway she decided to stop practicing due to the long hours.
My co. is too near to rhb liao, cos' I kept bumping into my ex-colleagues, even though I seldom lunch out (usually buy in), aiyoh. Initially tot I will feel distant when I met em cos' I only worked there for 1 month, but after we started chatting, I realized I think too much liao heehee, the feeling's still the same.
Quite like the location of my co...near to ah moy foodcourt which offers a great variety of food and it's cheap and yummy too. Heard from my colleague can even go chinatown if noe the direction! But in terms of shopping, there's really nothing, except for watson, guardian and mph :P. Raffles place there have many places to shop but have to walk at least 15-20 mins lor, so far...
